My occasional attempt to try something completely different from what I usually read turned out quite decently. Look, this kind of po*ntasy really is a different cup of tea, of course those scenes started annoying me but the main heroine doesn't really get loaded up until the end so it was bearable. For my taste, the huge amount of repeating pegs and juices started to be quite distracting and at the end it really goes off the rails but oh well, serves me right, I wanted to try it.
Now about the story, it wasn't that bad and even though I don't admit it easily, I actually enjoyed it and it was a great way to switch off.
It's nothing extra but the idea of an alpha king who slept for years with his warriors beneath the mountain and is now unknowingly awakened by his chosen omega wasn't bad. We have here a treacherous church sacrificing innocent girls to the dead king by tossing them onto a pyre, and beforehand they beat them properly when they don't obey even when they try to obey. There's betrayal, friendship, a rather nicely crafted world and totally adorable dragons.
Nothing extra elaborate but it was nice and I won't comment on the s*x scenes, they just seem funny to me well..
But damn, what I didn't get was that twist at the very end, I don't mean that explosive bedroom scene but what happened after that??? How did it happen? So either I was just exhausted after that demanding wild scene or it's badly written or translated because it doesn't make sense how it happened… whoever read it, let me know if you understood how the main heroine got to where she got, thanks🤪
