This was a really nice piece. A story about three college girls, where two have been friends since high school and one of them brings her college friend along. Each one is her own person and we get to watch how their trip to New York turns out.
There are misunderstandings, unnecessary arguments that cause insecurity and a feeling that friendship isn't always as solid as it seems.
I really enjoyed the storytelling about the most fragile emotions – about friendship that's changing, about dreams that collide with reality, and about the feeling that sometimes you can feel alone even among those closest to you.
The artwork is beautifully atmospheric, minimalist, yet full of details. The reading had a slower, calmer pace, it was more about mood and feelings than plot – but that's exactly where the magic of this comic lies.
