I really appreciate the new element where the main character suffers from facial blindness, so he doesn't recognize the people around him, even his closest ones, or even himself in the mirror.
The book provides a great storyline, plays perfectly with the reader, and you still won't quite know what's going on.
We have a couple here going through a marital crisis. The woman wins a stay at a guesthouse located in a remote area. A mysterious place wrapped in ghost stories, and strange things start happening to the couple. After their dog, which they brought with them, disappears, the atmosphere starts to thicken.
Which one of them is lying? Each has their own secret.
You can look forward to great twists. And I believe you'll be just as lost as I was and won't guess anything.
I really enjoyed the book, it's amazing. Brilliantly crafted plot, wonderfully readable, gripping. And that ending, outstanding.
