Junji has once again prepared a heap of twisted scenes for us. It was a ride that didn't disappoint at all. This huge manga, which has more than 740 pages, is composed of X short stories. Some of them are similar, but since Tomie was published gradually, it doesn't matter at all. I also gradually noticed how the slightly clumsy artwork became more and more refined as the author added more stories.
Ito is a magician, here he offers us a glimpse into the twisted world of Tomie, a beautiful girl who enslaves more than one man's heart and also schemes, is cruel and manipulates in every possible way. Even her suitors, who are obsessed with her beauty, don't shy away from any kind of atrocity and gladly dispose of their seeming rivals in various disgusting ways.
We get a hefty bundle of nastiness and various suicides, limbs flying through the air, we also encounter bizarre beings.

I had a great time and because I'm sick and not going anywhere, I managed to read all of Tomie in one evening.
I'll gladly recommend Tomie to all Ito enthusiasts and to those who enjoy horror manga.
