It took me a little while to figure out who was who and at first it looked like I was going to put it down, but that would have been a big mistake. Because in the end it was great.
So a piece of advice right at the start, if you have a similar struggle at the beginning as I did, don't be afraid and give it a chance.
The story in certain passages is quite heavy, dark, and gradually the whole spectrum opens up to you, the individual pieces fall into place, and everything suddenly makes sense.
It's gripping, a probe into human relationships, family tragedies, hidden secrets, and there are also some sad moments.
I'll happily read more books by this author.
