The story gently wrapped itself around me and kept me in suspense the whole time until the end. Readable, gripping, emotional, with dark as well as touching parts.
I had my suspicions about the villain fairly early on, because I didn't find that character very likeable, but I liked the twist when it was revealed that it wasn't quite the way I thought.
It's slightly over-complicated and at times almost unbelievable, but the story fully captured my attention, I really wanted to know what happened and how it would all end.
Great readable family drama / psychological thriller
I can recommend it.
