This graphic novel touched me.
The Sad Ghost Club is a sensitive story about anxiety, loneliness, and what it's like to try to function in a world that tends to be louder than we can bear. It's an incredibly kind book that gives the reader understanding.
The illustrations are simple, but they perfectly capture the given moment. Exactly the type of visual that knows how to embrace you. And some panels are so authentic that I felt the author was drawing my own thoughts.
