Well darn, this was a ride. Messrs. Bílek and Boček managed something I haven't read in book form before.
A genuine, true horror with a witch in the leading role. But what the infamous Pohádka farmstead and a bunch of mystery investigators have to do with it, that I won't reveal to you.
I really liked the gradual development of the characters and their intentions. Everyone here somehow had their motives and nobody was completely black-and-white. The mix of history, a real-life foundation, and the use of legend was a great combination. It was brisk, I enjoyed the twists, and that fantastic ending was the cherry on top. Excellent❤️
