STUDNA

STUDNA

A vacation to remember. That's how they wished it. That's how they dreamed it. Klára, Saša, Vašek, Roman and Petra. Friends from high school.
They rented a cabin at Lipno for fourteen days. Two weeks of shared moments that were supposed to bring them even closer together.
The goal was clear – to enjoy summer to the fullest. Get drunk every day and not get up until lunch.
At first, everything really unfolds the way they wanted. However, the idyll is soon disrupted by several coincidences that completely overturn their previously perfect vacation, and they are left with no choice but to fight for their own lives.
But who is behind it all? And what is the well behind the house actually used for?

At the beginning I really enjoyed it, it reminded me of those horror stories with a group of friends who go on a trip and something goes wrong. Nice location, weird house, strange well and a creepy old man who offers the group accommodation.
And then suddenly the whole thing went down the drain or down the well.
I believe this could have been much better but the potential wasn't used. I don't know if this is the author's debut, it seemed unpolished to me. The ending that was supposed to shock didn't make much sense, it could have been a horror but unfortunately, this didn't work out and I'm disappointed.
The cover is probably the most interesting thing about the whole book.
