Today I read a short story written by @netradicne.tradicni and I must say I really liked it a lot.
The readable style drew me into the plot and I found myself with the trio of young heroes in a church.
The atmosphere of the old little church just breathes on you.
As a little girl, I used to travel in the summer to a country church that my dad took care of; whenever something needed fixing, he was right there, and I was with him. That's why my own memories came alive so beautifully here, when I walked alone among the old pews, admired the beautiful pictures, and heard the rustle of pigeons' wings from the little tower.
The story is suspenseful, at times my head even spun when I imagined the heights the boys were moving at.
I enjoyed the interaction between the boys, two brothers and their friend who leads them. I really enjoyed their adventure. The search for the treasure is great, but the real treasure is neither in the church towers nor in the main nave of the church, but underground — there it is hidden from the world, eternal and unchanging.
But what got me the most was the ending, where my own imagination ran so wild that even now I'm still figuring out how it all might have been with grandpa and Snow White.
