A Sliver of Darkness
I love horror short stories and these were really well done. The author builds an uncomfortable, dark atmosphere brilliantly.
Evil lurks in every story, sometimes jumping out at you directly and other times quietly creeping up behind your back.
I liked the pleasantly surprising ending in Fleeting Blues, or Lion at the Gate.
I thoroughly enjoyed the high-rise with strange inhabitants. Excellent The Copier or the great post-apo The Last Course again with a surprise.
If you liked the author's previous books, I believe you'll also like her short stories. For me they were great.
