The first horror book of the new year and it was great.
I love stories with mysterious buildings, and combined with strange residents it's a real treat 😋
Here I got a complete excellent package. A couple whose life isn't exactly easy is chosen in a contest for one of the luxury apartments in a building that pleases the eye of many a tourist.
The house is magnificent, old and beautiful to look at, history radiates from it, but nobody knows what's really hiding inside the house. Soon the new tenants find out that not everything is as it seems.
We have a bunch of interesting characters here, from the constantly oddly smiling receptionist to the strange liftboys, not to mention the peculiar tenants. People disappear in the house, babies behave differently, and that strange melody in the walls that's meant for the little ones is also quite peculiar.
How it all turns out you'll have to read for yourself, because it's brilliant.
