I really enjoy stories that take place at sea and around it. I had an incredibly good time with The Cursed Bay.
The author skillfully depicted the setting, and thanks to that, the reader feels as if they are literally experiencing the entire story with the heroes. Just to listen to the sound of the waves.
The characters are interesting, likeable, you will worry about them, you will root for them, and at the same time you will enjoy discovering their personal stories. I really liked the legend itself about something dark that comes out of the sea once in a while, and then only devastation remains, and not every lost one is found. And is it really just a legend? That the reader must find out for themselves.
The book had no dull moments for me, I was absorbed from beginning to end and I am very satisfied. I can only recommend it and I believe you will like it too.
