We're having a spooky October and I finally got around to some spookier reading. The comic Echoes is bombastic, I devoured it in one sitting and I'm completely satisfied.
It's gripping, scary but also sad.
The artwork is great, it completely absorbed me. Big recommendation from me.
The main character's uncertainty about whether he committed the crimes or not, the cat and mouse game with his own mind, where even you don't know what is actually true. You want to root for the main character even though he might be a monster, and for some time you're not at all sure how everything happened.
The visual side complements the story perfectly. I got really lucky here.
The idea of the mentioned dolls is truly terrifying, and especially what they are made of.
Echoes was published by Mighty Boys, a young publisher specializing mainly in comics and books with sci-fi and horror themes. I'll be really looking forward to their next comics❤️
