I enjoyed reading the book, it is very readable and often the end of a chapter is so suspenseful that it forces you to keep reading on and on.
I understand the comparison to Trhlina by Mr. Karika, I just wouldn't compare it entirely.
When it comes to our Czech thriller-mystery genre, this title is a fairly fresh breeze.
The first hitch for me was the relationships between the main characters, because with such a terribly toxic group I wouldn't even go to the shop for bread rolls, let alone on a trip.
The atmosphere was well done, the strange phenomena and mysterious situations were nice, the mysteries too, the explanation let's say, but I'm not totally thrilled, because not everything was explained in a way that would satisfy me as a reader.
Was I scared? - not even a little bit 😁 but as I wrote, the atmosphere is well done and readers who don't read mystery thrillers might definitely enjoy it.
