I'm very glad that thanks to Olda @zanicenyknihkupec and the #klasikomilove group, I read this book.
The Invisible One is an excellent psychological novel. The dark story of the Hajn family, without a shred of optimism, plunges towards destruction from the very beginning.
I have to say that I didn't find a character here who would win my sympathy, except for Katy, who was the only light among otherwise unlikable characters.
It's truly a reading experience, you won't get this book out of your head easily. Hopelessness and depression simply ooze from the book, but hand in hand with them go friendship, love and repentance, ambition that leads to a deep fall.
I recommend it with all ten fingers, it's a gem ♥️
