You've known for a long time that I love children's books. When I was visiting Olda @zanicenyknihkupec yesterday at @kosmas Perlová and saw The Most Beautiful Gift, I immediately pounced on it.

The book is, in a word, gorgeous. Beautiful large-format illustrations and a sweet story that brought tears to my eyes (I know, with children's books I usually bawl like a baby every time). Stories with animals work on me most of the time.

This book will bring joy to both young readers and older ones will enjoy it too. It's a lovely Christmas story, and I believe it will make a wonderful gift under the Christmas tree.
Synopsis:
Bear usually spends Christmas in sweet hibernation, but this time he decided to stay awake. On Christmas Eve, he wants to exchange gifts with Mouse! But oh dear, his big paws can't handle the beautifully wrapped gift from his little friend. Won't Mouse be angry with him? How will this all turn out? Luckily, the other animals advise Bear what to do, and they all experience the most wonderful Christmas together.
