Another Josie case, which this time reaches into their professional ranks.
Josie and Noah work great as a couple and it doesn't even seem too saccharine to me, it just made me laugh how the book mentioned about twice that an intoxicating scent of aftershave wafts from Noah's face😁
Here we also meet Josie's twin sister, and I really like the dynamic between the two characters.
That's why I hope that in the next installments their relationship will be developed more.
The case is again intricate, suspenseful, and again easy to read. The chapters are short so you keep wanting more and more.
I know that a lot of readers were thrilled by the previous installment, which I liked a lot at first and then I was gritting my teeth that it was already too overcomplicated for me. But here I'm cheering, I'm completely satisfied and tears even came at the end, during the meeting of the characters. This would be an awesome movie scene, I can totally picture it.
And another gem I have to mention, it didn't even occur to me who the villain would be. There were great twists, the author knows how to confuse us nicely, so I had a theory and in the end it was completely different.
So yeah, a recommendation from me and I'm looking forward to the next installment, what will happen again.
