Mice, waging an endless battle for survival and to thrive in the harsh conditions of a world full of predators, founded the Mouse Guard for their defense. Its members are guides, scouts, weather watchers, trackers, and protectors of mice living in the lands between territories. They keep the borders safe, seek out new safe paths between villages, and escort caravans of goods along them. In case of attack, they must stand against every evil and danger that threatens their territories.
The story follows the adventures of three of the Guard's best members - Boris, Justýn, and Straša - on a quest to uncover a treacherous conspiracy.
The Guard is great, I like the unconventional format, thanks to which the wonderful illustrations stand out.
I enjoyed the story, I was curious whether there would be twists or some real action, and I'm very satisfied.
There's no lack of suspense or readability, and there's also a map. I'm looking forward to the next volume😍
