I've had Minier's Frost at home for nine years now and I still haven't read it and I keep planning to. Anyway, when I spotted that a comic book had been made, I didn't hesitate and chose this version for now with absolutely beautiful artwork that I really liked.
When I imagine that hefty tome of the original, I can't guess what all managed to make it into the comic, sometimes I felt like I was missing something a bit, however I enjoyed it so much that I won't put off reading the book any longer.
I'd be curious to compare after reading the book how much of the story they managed to capture in the comic.
