In the town of Kůrová Kamenice in the west of the Mouse Territories, in the cozy inn On June Street, mice from far and wide gather, drawn by the renowned hospitality of its owner Rudolfa. One evening, the mice decide to settle a dispute concerning unpaid bills. The one whose story Rudolfa likes the most will have their entire bill forgiven by the innkeeper. The prospect of such a prize is very tempting for the mice, so an evening full of fantastic tales can begin.
Mouse Guard and its legends had been tempting me for a long time, and I finally got into them.
I really like the first volume of Legends, the mix of drawing styles was fascinating to me and I enjoyed the stories.
Themes of friendship, love, heroism, courage, self-sacrifice, honor, cunning, and betrayal can be found in each of the stories. I'm looking forward to the next volume.
