excellent psychological drama/ghost story, I enjoyed the characters and the unraveling of the truth, and the way the ghost story beautifully permeated the plot was great

The book is readable, the topic and plot are good, I didn't guess at all how the story would develop and where it would head. A crime story that is dramatic and suspenseful just right. A brilliantly thought-out plot that surprises. I definitely don't hesitate to recommend it further and I'm incredibly looking forward to the next installment

Interesting plot, I really enjoyed the book, it has pace, great atmosphere of a mysterious little town, the highway near the swamps sometimes has one bridge too many 🐊🐉🐲🦎🐍
I also grew fond of the main characters👍
As a horror lover I definitely recommend reading it

WOMAN ON THE EDGE
Even though the book was predictable, it didn't bother me. I enjoyed how the story unravels.
I also liked how the book is split between the perspectives of the two main heroines.
It's not a classic chilling thriller but the story doesn't lack a certain tension. More of a relaxing thriller, which I wouldn't be afraid to recommend.

THE FOLCROFT GHOSTS
Overall, the book felt flatter to me, as if the great premise wasn't really developed properly for some reason. I read not very enthusiastic comments and I unfortunately have to agree with some of them, you could say it's the author's weakest book so far. It's such a rushed little snack, which could have been truly flawless if a bit more time and care had been given to it. But otherwise I enjoyed it, I read it in two hours.
If you don't want to be extremely scared, don't like proper jump scares but would still like some story with ghosts, then I can easily recommend the book to you. It's not a demanding story that will make your hair stand on end but a chill one-shot.
