The Spa is an interesting horror work. The book is in large format, the illustrations are nicely done and the horror parts are truly terrifying. At some moments I was reminded of Itō.
The whole story takes place in a huge spa and here we follow the fates of not only the visitors but also the employees and the director himself.
We learn fragments of stories about various people, sometimes it felt very abstract to me. Sometimes I had to let my imagination work and fill in certain situations that weren't explained.
For me it's a successful piece, with a deeper look the reader gets a nice package of satire, black humor and believe me, in the horror moments, of which there are countless here, you will feel quite uneasy.
I'll gladly recommend it to lovers of horror comics.
