When I first saw in the publishing catalogue that this beauty was about to come out, it caught my attention immediately. By its title, blurb, and cover. I instantly felt that pleasant tug when a book latches onto you and somehow you already feel inside that you're going to love it.
This is my first from this author, I know he writes detective novels and I'm definitely planning to read them.
And what is The Swan and the Hunter like? Beautiful and sad, wrapped in pleasant poetry.
The author is a master of words, he tells the story brilliantly and thanks to him I was transported for a while to Šumava. The descriptions of the place, animals, and events were amazing.
I love stories about nature and ancient times and myths. I really liked the incorporation of the myth of the Swan, who didn't have it easy in this story but bravely fought against her fate.
I'm glad I bought the book as an e-book and read it before the physical release, but now I'm looking forward to getting it for my library❤️ it's so beautiful, I have one more collage for this post with illustrations from the book but it would be a shame to reveal them all before the book comes out because the visuals are unreal😍
A huge recommendation, I believe you will love it as much as I did❤️
