I'm ending the last day of 2022 the only way I know how — with horror, and I have to say that as the second-to-last book of the year, Sour Candy doesn't need to be ashamed at all, because it was great.
This not-so-long story you'll devour in no time, but it will mess with your head wonderfully.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and how the author played with me and confused me nicely for a while, so that I no longer knew how things really were.
The main character is nice, an ordinary guy who went through a breakup in the past because he didn't want kids, unlike his wife, but what will happen when, after a certain event, it starts to look like he's living with a son he doesn't know at all? Who is the child, and is it even a child?
It was really creepy reading, very disturbing, and I definitely want to read more from the author.
I'm very curious how many sour candies you'll have after reading this book😄
what do you say, Míja, do you like sour candies? @recenzujuknizky
