I read quite a few books by Yrsa years ago and I really liked them, so Prey was an obvious choice for me.
It was great again. Some scenes literally gave me chills. A large part of the story takes place in an icy wilderness where a group of tourists gets lost. Then the search for the group is interwoven here and we get to know other important characters. And the third storyline takes us through an investigation in the past. Everything connects and gets explained at the end.
I really liked all three storylines, more than once the text gave me goosebumps, and reading this book in winter, when it would be heavily snowing outside and the wind would be blowing, I would be even more scared.
The ending with the explanation was super entertaining for me, because I really didn't expect such a twist and I've never come across one like it in any book.
If you like chills and suspense, this is the book for you.
