Simply put, KILL CREEK was AMAZING!
I love horror stories about haunted houses, and here I was purring with satisfaction.
I didn't mind that the book has a slower, calmer pace at the beginning, during which we get acquainted with the main characters and get an outline of where they currently stand. Their fates and pasts are gradually revealed to us throughout the story.
I formed a bond with the main characters, they entertained me, I liked them, I felt sorry for what they had been through in the past, and when it came down to it, I was really worried about them. I liked how they develop, how they change.
The writing style suited me and I enjoyed the plot, I was also surprised by the fact that the whole story didn't take place only in the house. I was also thrilled about the horror movies that were mentioned at the beginning of the book.
