Animals have always been one of the most popular topics in children's books.
Ever since I was little, I have loved books about animals; I was interested in everything—how they live, what they eat, where they live, what their young look like, etc.
And what got me into this book, which is, after all, intended for muuuch younger age groups? Well, I simply needed to take a break for a while from all the horror stories, thrillers, and detective novels, and just switch off and immerse myself in the beautiful illustrations by Maribel Lechuga.
Animal Homes by Emily Bone is a charming children's book with beautiful illustrations, lift-the-flap windows, and very interesting information about animals.
In addition to the classic lift-the-flap windows, there are also multi-level ones containing further interesting facts.
