Stardust is a matter of the heart. I associate it with a certain phase of my life, and I thoroughly enjoyed rereading it in the form of a large-format illustrated book.

Synopsis:
Young Tristran, son of a local villager and a beautiful elf-woman, falls in love. Victoria promises him her favor if he brings her the star they saw fall together. Tristran crosses the stone wall and finds himself in Faerie, a land where absolutely anything is possible. He soon discovers that the star has the form of a lovely girl and that getting her back across the Wall won't be easy at all. Others are after the heavenly jewel as well: the witch-queen wants to gain youth and beauty through it, and for seven young lords it is the key to the kingdom. Thus begins Tristran's struggle with creatures that change in time and space.
