A great piece, I liked it a lot. The book I read is based on various forms of fear. What people fear the most. Some fears are downright bizarre, some sent chills down my spine, and others I know all too well.
The book isn't very long, but you pause at every fear, I was fascinated by what all people fear, our imagination is limitless, and so are our fears.
It's interesting how fear can be evoked in us by, for example, some remarks from loved ones - "Mom told me that if I rode escalators with my shoes untied, the stairs would grab my laces and suck me in. She also said that mall security guards used to be little boys who got sucked in by the escalator and had to stay there forever."
Other times our mind plays tricks on us - "Sometimes I'm afraid that I suffer from delusions and my dog is just a pile of laundry on the floor of a psychiatric clinic".
