The second part of this thrilling series really surprised me a lot. The author's style suited me already in the previous installment, the brisk pace and gripping plot were not lacking. Another story of Nina Guerrero had passages with an atmosphere thick enough to cut with a knife.
Unraveling Nina's past, which she herself didn't know about, was great fun for me. And I have to say that in the final chapters there wasn't a dry eye.
This installment is mostly about family and family bonds, we learn a lot of new information about the main heroine's family, and the killer is this time extremely cunning and is connected to Nina in quite a devilish way. I incredibly enjoyed the passages where the team stood by the main heroine and supported her.
For me, a great installment, and I'm already looking forward to the next one.
