GRIŠA: SVĚTLO A STÍNY

GRIŠA: SVĚTLO A STÍNY

Series Grisha 1.
Orig. title Shadow and Bone, 2012

I've had Grisha on my radar ever since I read Six of Crows. Then, after I devoured the entire Netflix series in one sitting on the day it was released, I knew I wanted to read the book.
First of all, I have to say it was a really great read, easy and a lot of fun. Thanks to having seen the series, I can now say they really nailed it.
The book is of course more focused on the characters, who develop throughout the story.

I still have a fairly neutral attitude toward Alina and Mal, Genya I enjoyed both in the book and in the series, the same goes for Baghra, but the one I really took a liking to is the Darkling. I love villains and he is simply fantastic.

Now I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the next installments.

Have you read the series? What do you think of it? Did you like the series? And which character do you like?
