The second book by Mr. @rousek.martin was a much easier read for me than Síla hlasu.
The beginning is great. The main character Lilly drove me crazy in some passages but overall she didn't bother me.
The story is quite gripping and at times nicely spooky, for example the scenes from the empty offices were awesome. But again, I have some reservations.
I'm slowly getting used to the author's favorite phrase "tin carriage", which grates on my ears, but towards the end where the "eternal hunting grounds" are mentioned, I already had a problem with this phrase, the same goes for "face weathered by experiences" or "sharpened jewel" which is a hunting knife..
I figured out the thing with the main character's brother earlier. The villain's motives are fairly believable, I just feel that at the end he gets some kind of overly crazy fanatical fit that doesn't fit the story at all, and somehow his name didn't sit right with me, I would have preferred it if he hadn't mentioned any.
The nameless city where the story takes place has interesting locations. And the very ending worked for me.
