BYLI JSME TADY

The book deals with quite heavy topics such as bullying, depression, thoughts of self-harm, abuse, and it won't be easy reading for everyone.
Even though I'm not the target audience, the book caught my eye and I was curious how the author would handle the topic.
I absolutely couldn't grasp the behavior of the main character's "boyfriend," that was really shocking. At some moments I didn't even understand the main character, but the fact is I'm not the target audience and it's hard to say how one would behave at her age.
The internal visual design of the book is great, nicely divided and even interspersed with comics drawn by the main character.
The characters were believable, human, with their flaws and problems, I'd say the author did a great job of bringing them closer to readers.
The topic is quite heavy and unpleasant, the main character Erica wakes up after a party almost naked and scribbled with names by her classmates, because she was very drunk and has no idea what actually happened. Gradually it comes to light how it all was and a video also gets out where the boys are scribbling on Erica.

It was hard to read how Erica tries to please everyone, how she gradually discovers that not every friend is real, but finds support from another classmate.

The book is very much about feelings, we literally see into the main character's head and there really were moments when I would have most liked to hug her and tell her everything would be fine again. The author did a great job of conveying emotions.

It's good that books with this theme are being published. Definitely consider reading it, read the warnings before you dive in. At the end, helpline contacts are very nicely summarized, with both phone numbers and websites.
For my part, I can recommend it.
