I was really looking forward to The Rat God and it was exactly to my taste.
I enjoyed the brilliantly constructed story, set in a mysterious place with even stranger inhabitants.

A very bizarre but brilliantly conceived story with a nicely suffocating atmosphere, complete with rituals, offerings and a strange God. The seemingly almost abandoned town with its disfigured inhabitants and a graveyard where, honestly, I wouldn't want to wander even in the daytime, completely won me over. The artwork is excellent, giving the story just the right atmosphere. As for the characters, none of them were likeable to me, but that didn't bother the story at all, I enjoyed it to the fullest.
I can recommend it to lovers of horror, horror comics, and also to those who like mysterious stories.
