I love books that break me into pieces, where I cry my eyes out and enjoy every minute of it. I've been hearing for years that this one is a great candidate and yes it was, I cried like a turtle.
I like retellings even though I haven't read as many as I'd like, but this one was great. I slightly suspect the author isn't very fond of the Hatter ahem 🤨
I enjoyed the characters even though Cath sometimes got on my nerves, but when Jest showed up it was amazing.
Now I'm nursing a broken heart from reading, I'll be recovering for a few days and I don't think I'll get this book out of my head anytime soon.
There's a mix of the Alice from childhood, which I read, but I really enjoyed the characters of the three little creepy sisters, they were truly horror-like and the final scene with them was something else.
Those of you who haven't read it, get to it, there's nothing to wait for. Did you know the book is almost impossible to find?
