Wow, this is a treasure. Unconventional, dark, horror-like, original, packed with bonuses.
These were images of nightmares come to life. A gloomy story, an old sanatorium, and madness soaked into the walls.
The techniques are fascinating, using for example textiles and photographs. I read McKean's Cages, where he also extensively used various techniques, and Arkham is on the same visual wavelength.
It will burrow under your skin and you'll think about it for a long time. Who is actually the bigger madman in the sanatorium — those locked up, those who care for them and are supposed to treat them, or the one who was called to explore his own inner self and wage a battle for sanity.
I highly recommend it, it's a great experience.
