Once in a while I step completely out of my reading pond and usually it's pretty nice. Now in December, when it was demanding both at work and mentally, I needed to completely switch off with something, and I'd been seeing Barbarians here quite often, so I thought why not, I'll try it and see if I'll enjoy them or not. And lo and behold, it was nice.
I got exactly what I expected, although I'm not into erotic scenes, this book was a chill, undemanding little bite with a sexy blue, soft, ribbed and I don't know what else alien and an abducted earthling who get together.
It was nice that besides lots of hot scenes there was also a plot, the description of the planet or the creatures that live there entertained me quite a bit, and I really actually enjoyed the reading.
If you need to switch off, have something undemanding and don't mind a bunch of pretty descriptive hot scenes, go for it, it's a nice read.
