I've loved pirate stories since childhood, so this large-format comic caught my interest and I wanted to read it.
The story is great, adventurous, dynamic, gripping, and the characters develop.
The first book is called "Slaves" and the second book is called "Scars". I enjoyed both stories, I wasn't bored for a single moment.
We have the classic mix here - pirates, betrayal, a hate-to-love relationship, mysterious treasures, curses, violence, likeable, charismatic and repulsive characters, and this works for me. I'm already looking forward to the next volumes.
And one more enthusiastic shout-out for the artwork, on some pages it's downright breathtaking
