Auris caught my attention from the first page. Fitzek's books entertain me more and more, and I couldn't miss a thriller based on his concept. The plot is action-packed, fast-paced, and the characters are engaging.

An unexpected surprise right at the beginning, an unraveling plot, and a good number of twists give the book just the right flair. I started reading on Thursday and literally had to keep reading on and on, the pages flying before my eyes, but I saved the ending for the weekend after all.
The story is intricate, nicely tangled, and won't leave you alone. I love the originality, and the information about forensic phonetics was great.
