As a reader who really loves fantasy, it immediately won me over with its readability, captivating original plot, and brisk pace.
This book doesn't suffer from a long slow start; it pulls you straight into the action-packed plot, so you don't need to worry about getting bored. It also contains very nice illustrations.
The setting in which Adept takes place is very well described.
The main characters are not flat but very well drawn, they keep developing throughout the entire book, and I grew very fond of them.
I enjoyed their dark humor, verbal sparring, and banter, which often brought a smile to my face.
Funny - brisk - action-packed - readable - captivating - that's all the book Adept, which I can warmly recommend.
